QuickBooks now requires your employees to enter a password to view their pay stubs when you e-mail them. QuickBooks generates the passwords automatically; each password consists of the first four letters of the employee's last name followed by the last four digits of their Social Security number.
Examples
Name: SSN: Pay Stub Password:
Ben Narramore 855-56-4545 narr4545
Deb D'Spain 782-34-3419 dspa3419
Jimmy Wu 903-88-7465 wu7465
Note that all characters must be entered in lowercase and punctuation characters are not included in the password. When a last name has fewer than four characters, the whole last name is used (like in wu above) but no additional characters are added.
You will need to inform each employee of this new password requirement

Why Poured Water Won't Come Out Bunn Coffee Machine Brewer
To contact us Click HERE
I have to start off with a disclaimer that I don't represent bunn or claim and expertise on repairing Bunn-O-Matic Coffee machines. That said, as a coffee drinker I have used this kind of equipment heavily both to drink coffee and for professional, work purposes so I do have some knowledge on the topic ;-)
It sounds as though you have poured water through the screen at the top of your Bunn Coffee Machine and no water is coming out. There are a number of possible reasons you are not seeing water fill the coffee pot but only one that I can speak with any remote expertise (and I mean really, really "remote" expertise) and that your issue is related to how you are filling the tank.
The Model Of The Brewer
If you are using a model C Bunn coffee maker you definitely need to directly pour your own water in the equipment at the top of the machine as opposed to running it directly from you plumbing. All or most of the plumbed versions (CT, CTF, CWT, CWTA, CWTB, CWTF, CWTFA, CWTFB Single CW, Single CWF) I believe all have a 'hatch' at the top that will allow you to water directly into the machine.
Is The Tank Empty?
If you are using a brand new (or used purchased) Bunn O Matic Pot for the very first time, the tank in the coffee machine is completely empty. I have no idea how much water your tank holds but one pitcher of water might not be enough to fill the tank. You need to fill the tank first and then any other subsequent adding of water will result in the excess water leaving the tank and pouring into your coffee pitcher sitting on the burner under the filter funnel.
Steps To Fill Tank and Get Water Pouring Into Pot
I know this process works for Bunn O Matic C Series Machine but it probably works for others as well.
For C Series (I recommend keeping an empty pitcher on the burner beneath where the water comes out in case the water suddenly starts coming.)
1. Make sure the heater switch in back of the machine is set to 'Off'
2. Pour one coffee pitcher of water into the pour over screen at the top of the Unit. Be sure to use the coffee pitcher that is provided for the machine
3. Wait two minutes as this will allow the water enough time to run into the tank
4. Repeat steps #2 and #3 two more times so that you have added a total of three pitchers. Make sure you allow two minutes between each pitcher poured.
5. Now, on model C your tank is full (again this may vary from yours). If you experience water coming out before you fill it three times, your tank is smaller than a C series so stop as it is full. Just let the water pour into the pot under the dispenser.
6. Go ahead and turn the heater switch you turned 'off' in step on to 'ON'. On Bunn O Matic makers when you fill them for the first time, you want to let it sit for 20 minutes. Keep the pot under where the water comes out as some dripping may occur when you do this for the first time.
7. Now, you have a tank full of coffee ready hot water. Now when you pour another pitcher into the tank water will come out. Go ahead, add your filter, add your ground coffee and make yourself a cup of fresh coffee.
What If The Pot is Overflowing or Under Filling?
You are really only going to have this problem on Bunn units that are directly plumbed into a water line as opposed to pour-over type units. If you are having trouble getting the right amount of water to dispense into the pot, you'll of course wind up with a wimpy cup of coffee (too much water) or a robust, nasty cup of Joe (too little water). I wrote an article that will teach you how to change the amount of water that empties into a pitcher when using Bunn units. Click Here To Read This Article.
OK, What Coffee Should I Put in My Pot?
Well, now we are getting a little more subjective. I have no idea. There are so many great brands of coffee out there to choose from that I wouldn't know where to start. I do drink a lot of Ellis coffee as well as a lot of Maxwell House coffee, so I did do a comparison of the two. The article linked below compares the two and will direct you to a more thorough review of these coffee brands. Check out the link below.

Removing Uninstalling Apps From LG Fusion Cell Phone or Other Wireless
To contact us Click HERE
OK, my guess is that you have downloaded a bunch of apps and found that you no longer want them on your phone anymore. It is likely that you either hate (or simply no longer want) the application or you need to open up some additional memory space on your cell phone. I’ll run through how to remove / uninstall apps.
This works for my LG Fusion (android) wireless phone so if you have that type of phone this method will work. If you have another kind of phone, it might work as well. Try it and find out. There are two ways you can do this, I’ll run through both. Heres the first way to get an app off your cellphone.
Step 1
Press the “Apps” icon on your touch screen. Mine is in the lower right corner
Step 2
Then look for your “App Manager “ Icon located under “Tools” on your touch screen. Press “App Manager”
Step 3
Now look for the “Download” Icon/button on the screen that appears. This shows at the top of my cell phone touch screen. Press “Download”
Step 4
A list of all your downloaded apps will appear. Press “Uninstall” Follow rest of prompts and your application will be off your phone.
There is also another way to erase an application off your wireless phone. I feel like there are more steps to this method but in some ways it is a little more straight forward.
Step 1
See the button in the lower left corner of your LG Fusion? The one with the square on it? Press it
Step 2
Then press “Settings” (You should be able to find it easy but if not it is the icon with the sprocket / gear under the word “settings”
Step 3
Scroll to and press the “Applications”button
Step 4
Press “Manage Applications”
Step 5
Press “Downloaded” (you should already be on this tab but if not, press it)
Step 6
Choose your app that you wish to uninstall by scrolling to it and pressing it
Step 7
Press “Uninstall” Follow rest of prompts then you are done.

What You Need for Domestic LTL Truck Shipment Quote
To contact us Click HERE
So you want to have the right information ready to go when asking a trucking company or other carrier service for a rate quote?
Look, I'll be honest, I'm not a logistics expert but I do know a bit about getting a price for transportation of goods within the United States. This process really does not apply to international shipments worldwide. Overseas exports and imports require additional information for transport that I won't include here.
Also, this is best suited for domestic (USA) LTL (less than truckload) shipments using common carrier trucking service.
Some transport services need more information, some need less, some need more specific information than I detail here. They will talk you through this process if this doesn't give you everything you need. That said, if you have this information below, you'll be off to a good start. Check with your preferred carrier or third party logistics company and if there is some other freight information they need they'll tell you.
These are the things at a minimum your carrier will want to know when you ask them to quote what it will cost you to ship goods via truck.
1. The address the goods are shipping from (typically they just need origin zip code)
2. The destination the goods are shipping to (typically they just need the destination zip code)
3. The gross weight of your shipment
4. Dimensions of pallets (height of load on pallet included) or packaging if floor loaded. This is especially needed if not shipped on a 48 x 40 (standard US) pallet.
5. Any special handling. This would include the need for the truck to have a life gate, refrigeration, basically anything out of the ordinary to load and protect the product. One rule we have is that we can not combine food product with other products with strong odors, that would be another example of special handling.
6. Probably this falls into special handling but let them know if the product is flammable, corrosive, etc any kind of hazard danger rating.
7. The amount of pallets / drums / boxes / packages.
8. Freight class. If you already know the freight class of the goods, tell the carrier who is quoting. It'll be a big help and will clarify some of the questions above. Freight classes are categorized from 50 to 500 and are established by the National Motor Freight Classification Tariff. Freight class helps carriers determine how much they charge you. Freight class takes the likeliness of your shipment being damaged, value of shipment, how easy it is to load and the size of shipment into consideration.
If you are unsure of your freight class there are plenty of websites out there that will give you guidance. The best resource though may be the trucking company or 3rd party logistics service themselves. They should be able to guide you through this and will save you some time especially if you trust they won't put you needlessly into a higher (and more expensive) class. The advantage of having your transport company quote this is that your goods are less likely to be reclassified. If you guess wrong and give your freight carrier the wrong class they might discover your error and then reclassify it to the correct class. You might wind up paying more than what was quoted.

Lotus Notes Out of Office Message Won't Disable or Enable
To contact us Click HERE
If you are trying to go away on vacation or leave the office for an extended period of time with no access to email, you will definitely want to enable your away message on Lotus Notes Mail to indicate you are not available via email. Here's a post to learn how to put your out of message on if you don't know how.
Conversely if yo have returned to the office you want to be sure you disable your out of office message so that people know you are back.
Let's make sure you are disabling properly before we look at another way to fix your problem. To Disable, first be sure you are in any screen that allows the “Tools” button to show in the top right corner of your Lotus Notes screen (inbox, send, junk mail, trash, etc views will all allow you to see the “Tools” button)Click the “Tools” button
In the drop down menu that appears select “Out of Office”The window that appears should read “Enabled”at the top. If so, look to the lower right of that window and select“Disabled”Another window will appear that will ask you if you are sure you want to disable your vacation / away message. Click yes and you are all set.
OK… now, what is probably happening, the whole reason you are reading this article, is that your vacation message is not turning off (ie it isn't disabling). In other words, if you go back into tools-out of office again, it still says “Enabled” This is a problem since people still think you are still away from work when you really are. (The opposite, of course, is true if you are still getting the “Disabled” message but want to “Enable”)
Chances are you are already getting warning messages about your lotus running out of file space / memory. This is what is preventing your from turning on and off your away message.
To remedy, delete all of the emails (sent, inbox, junk, trash) that you no longer need. If a particular email is taking up a large amount of memory and you still need it, consider saving it to your hard drive, network, CD, etc, etc first before deleting You want to get rid of as much mail as possible. Essentially, your Lotus Notes file space is so full that even a simple action like disabling or enabling the out of office message will not save.
You might need to contact your system administrator to determine how much mail you need to delete or just wing it and get rid of as much as you can starting with the largest sized files. Here are some great tips on deleting excess mail from Lotus
Keep deleting and then trying to enable / disable (don't forget to empty your 'trash' bin and junk mail). If it isn't enabling / disabling, delete some more.
Hope that helps! Thanks for reading!

How to Tell How Much More Lotus Notes Email Memory to Delete
To contact us Click HERE
Once you start getting that memory warning message on Lotus Notes mail you will want to start deleting as many pesky emails as possible starting with the mail / files that take up the most gbs. You need to do this until you are under the memory threshold again. If you don’t, you won’t be able to save ‘sent’ emails, update your calendar, enable / disable features etc. on Lotus Notes.
The question that comes up of course is how many emails exactly do I need to delete? Or, put another way, how many GBs do I need to recover on Lotus so that I can start saving mail and using features again?
Checking to see how much more memory you need to recover is easy to do but it isn’t very intuitive. You might not be able to find it on your own. I can show you how to figure this out here.
Step 1
Go to FILE in the upper left corner of Lotus. A drop down menu will appear.
Step 2
In the drop down menu, hover your cursor over DATABASE. When you do this a side menu will appear to the right.
Step 3
Click on PROPERTIES on the side menu
Step 4
A window will appear called “Database”. You’ll see a bunch of tiny tabs. Click on the lower case “i” tab
Step 5
Just under the “i” tab, you’ll see“Diskspace” showing how much diskspace is normally available. Click on the “% Used” button next to disk space.
Step 6
If the percentage appears is under 100% you have deleted enough mail. The lower this percentage the better. If it is higher you will continue to get this message.
Step 7
Once you have deleted all of your mail you will want to have your system administrator compact your memory
Why Won't My Out of Office Disable or Enable on Lotus Notes?

Transfer Photos from LG Lucid Cell Phone to SD Sandisk Card

Is it Possible to Move Pictures Directly to SD Card From LG Lucid Phone?
I've been taking a lot of photos and videos lately on my LG Lucid smart phone and finally decided to move them from my phone to the Sandisk card that I inserted into the side of the phone.
On my old cell phone I would simply insert the SD card into the side of the phone, navigate to the pictures I wanted to transfer to the card, bring up the menu and select the "move" option that would then give me the option to move "to card" Then the pictures would copy from the phone onto the card. Pretty easy right? Should work the same on the LG Fusion right? Wrong.
It doesn't work the same on the Fusion, actually it doesn't work at all. That is, if you took pictures without your external memory card inserted into the phone, there appears to be no way to move these pictures from the phones 'stock' memory card to the external SD card you plugged in.
Verizon Wireless Could Not Answer How to Copy Pics from Phone to Card
There is no way I could believe that pics can not be transferred to the card. After all, you can plug your own memory card into the phone, so you should be able to move the pictures right?
I contacted Verizon Wireless support via email to hear their thoughts. Basically the only advice they could offer was to have me move the pictures to my computer, then to the memory card. Their advice wasn't very helpful. I found the instructions to be difficult to follow and not very thorough. I could have used more detailed information on a lot of the steps they gave me. Plus, my purpose of transferring to memory card is so that I can eventually move to PC, not vice versa.
I Visited a Verizon Wireless Cell Phone Store
OK, I still didn't believe that it was impossible to move photos from cell phone memory to SD card so I went straight to a Verizon wireless store, waited the obligatory hour to be served and asked the customer service person what I should do.
The initial reaction of both guys in the store was that this should be simple to do. As they started to try this on my smart phone they too were in the some, complete disbelief as I was...... it can not be done. One of the guys went into the back to do some research, check manuals, etc but he could not find a way to copy pics to my card.
OK, So is there Another Way to Move Pics to Card to PC ?
Yes, sort of. I figured two options out,not exactly the solution I was looking for, but it seemed to work.
Fix Number One - Store Pictures Directly on Card
Instead of having your phone store the pictures on its internal memory, have your phone store pics directly on the memory card that you insert into the side of the phone. All you need to do it keep your external SD card inserted in your phone before you take any pictures or videos. They will store directly onto the card you inserted. When you are ready, you can remove the card and move right onto your PC. I keep my SD card inserted all the time know so I can do this easily.
Fix Number Two - Move Pictures Directly to Computer Using Charger
If your entire goal is to move pictures from phone to your computer you can skip worrying about a lot of fancy maneuvers with your SD card. What you can do instead is take some pictures and then plug your phone right into your PC using your charger. You know the charger that came with your LG Lucid wireless phone? If you look at the plug (the part you put into an outlet) on your charger, you'll see there is a USB connector integrated into the plug. The other end of the cable, plugs into your phone. Wait a few seconds and you computer will prompt you to transfer images to your PC.
The only problem I had with this, and you might have the fix to this, is that I was unable to selectively move pics from my phone to my PC. It moved all of them. I had pictures on my Lucid load onto my PC that I wasn't even aware I had. I basically opened the folder on my PC and deleted what I didn't want.
If you have a better way of doing this, feel free to comment. Would love to hear it. Again, this worked great, its just that I got a bit more images than I bargained for.
I hope that helped you to Transfer Photos from LG Lucid Cell Phone to SD Sandisk Card.

Federal, State, Local and International Taxes - IR-2012-73 The Internal Revenue Service today urged taxpayers whose tax-filing extension runs out on Oct. 15 to double check their returns for often-overlooked tax benefits and then file their returns electronically using IRS e-file system.
Many of the more than 11 million taxpayers who requested an automatic six-month extension this year have yet to file. Though Oct. 15 is the last day for most people, some still have more time, including members of the military and others serving in Iraq, Afghanistan or other combat zone localities who typically have until at least 180 days after they leave the combat zone to both file returns and pay any taxes due. Federal, State, Local and International Taxes - If you are behind on paying payroll taxes for your company, WATCH OUT!!! The IRS is extremely aggressive pursuing collection of this type of tax. They would rather seize your business assets, close you down, sell your assets at auction, and put you out of business than allow you to continue amassing additional payroll tax liabilities.
If you are behind on your payroll taxes, DO NOT meet with the IRS on your own. How you answer their initial questions can determine whether you stay in business or not. It is critical you hire a professional representative who knows how the IRS operates. Considering a Tax Professional? For no obligation free consultation contact us today! LIMITING ITEMIZED DEDUCTIONS?
To contact us Click HERE
Ezra Klein’s WONKBLOG at the Washington Post website has reported that we now have “Tax Plan Specifics! From Mitt Romney!”.
Well, one possible specific.
“ABC News reports that Mitt Romney told Denver’s Fox affiliate that ‘one option’ he was considering to pay for his tax plan was to give everyone up to $17,000 in deductions, but no more than that.”
Romney explained -
”You could use your charitable deduction, your home mortgage deduction, or others – your health-care deduction. And you can fill that bucket, if you will, that $17,000 bucket that way. And higher income people might have a lower number.”
This specific is not specific enough, and raises questions.
Would a married couple be limited to $17,000, but 2 single individuals living together be allowed a total of $34,000? Or would the limit be $17,000 for Single, Married Filing Separate, and Head of Household and $34,000 for Married Filing Joint?
Would the choices of what you can use to “fill your bucket” be reduced, or would all current deductions, under current law, be available? Would other deductions and benefits currently allowed elsewhere now be available only as itemized deductions subject to the limitation?
I don’t like this idea. If we are going to continue to allow itemized deductions under a simpler Tax Code, then the deductions that remain will do so for a purpose. And if a deduction is worth keeping it should not be limited.
Obviously some currently allowed itemized deductions would not be continued in the new simpler Tax Code – perhaps those for taxes and mortgage interest on properties other than one’s primary principal residence.
Besides, the problem with inappropriate “tax expenditures” that create “tax non-payers” lie more in adjustments to income and tax credits then they do with itemized deductions.
This idea just adds more complexity to the Tax Code, especially as Romney has hinted that "higher income people might have a lower number”, suggesting additional AGI-based limitations. We don't need more complexity - we need simplicity.
At least it shows that Mitt is thinking about tax reform.

Self-Employed Individuals Tax Center - Estimated tax is the method used to pay Social Security and Medicare taxes and income tax, because you do not have an employer withholding these taxes for you. Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals, is used to figure these taxes. Form 1040-ES contains a worksheet that is similar to Form 1040. You will need your prior year’s annual tax return in order to fill out Form 1040-ES. Use the worksheet found in Form 1040-ES, Estimated Tax for Individuals to find out if you are required to file quarterly estimated tax.
Form 1040-ES also contains blank vouchers you can use when you mail your estimated tax payments or you may make your payments using the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS). If this is your first year being self-employed, you will need to estimate the amount of income you expect to earn for the year. If you estimated your earnings too high, simply complete another Form 1040-ES worksheet to refigure your estimated tax for the next quarter. It’s a good idea to formally establish and distribute a company policy and makesure everyone understands it. Additionally, make sure you have a policy ofreview in place. Don’t issue directives if you don’t plan to follow through ordon’t know how to….hire an IT person or contract with a local service that caninstall and update security software and will monitor activity and produceactivity reports as well as set up an alert system when your employees violateyour policies.
As always, the most important tip I can offerto you is to back up your work. Get a flash drive or learn to use the cd writeron your computer, purchase an external back up device or look into online backup services. This is the most important daily routine you can practice. If youare using an older version of QuickBooks, turn on the audit trail. It may slowyou down a little, but you’ll be glad you did.
